In our early years, bathrooms were the bulk of our work. In more recent times, its something that I have shy'd away from due to some bad experiences with baths and China in general ( although the food is superb!!!)

I  have just put a new bath in at home and was taking an open minded approach to this job after all, its not rocket science, but then, there's always the un-forseen spanner in the works.

The pipework has been prepared. The wall had been chased out ready and the bearer's for the bath feet were pinned off to the floor. The bath was levelled and ready to be finalised. I had just one more thing to do which was the bath waste overflow kit.........so...........I offered the kit up to the underside of the bath and there to my annoyance was a massive inverted dip in the underside of where the gaskets would seal........or should of except if I can see light through the gap the chances are that water will follow.

Now its not the end of the world after all its my place however, what if it was a customers and they had to wait three days for another such as I did?

Now that was the reason I shy away from bathrooms............

Flags on cars. They are everywhere and I mean everywhere!

Seems like only five minutes ago that it was World Cup 2006 in Germany and it was flag-mania then.

I wish the England team the very best of luck in South Africa.

World Cup 2006.

As a footy fan it sticks in my mind but not only that, twelve hours after England's first game in 2006 my wife went into labour with our first child. She was extremely thoughtful not to interrupt the game on that Saturday afternoon. That same child is coming up for her fourth birthday  this very weekend as  South Africa 2010 starts ,and she starts school in September which leaves me flabbergasted at how times flown and I'm left to ponder in disbelief ....................

............Is it really World Cup time again???!!

Some months ago I made a decision to re-do the website from what was put together back in 2006. The only reason I did this was becuase I learnt that I could have a website that I coupld update MYSELF, which seemed like a great idea. The only thing is that the host says that I need no expert knowledge to do this.

Well, I beg to differ on that one. Its proved to be a lot more difficult that I was lead to beleive!!!

Some times a problem can be addressed with a solution, a decision that could be made subject to information available at the time.

Believe it or not, heating systems and boilers can also pan out this way!!!
